Description

Description Material Handler I performs general manual labor tasks including lifting, moving materials, removing any defective product from the production line. Coordinates with material handling and logistics personnel as needed to ensure that required processing materials are available and on hand for production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Some of the duties and responsibilities may include: Opens and prepares raw material for processing. Assists in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures to include K&P good manufacturing practices (GMP) and food safety policies. Relies on instructions from Line Techs, Line Auditors, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
