***THIS IS MAINTENANCE***NO PER DIEM*** Position Summary: A Material Handler will receive, inventory, store and issue materials, complete tracking needs and control materials as well as work with equipment inspections (power tools to light equipment to materials and safety equipment). JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualification Highlights: Must have 4+ years’ experience working for an industrial construction/maintenance/turnaround project in the warehouse or equivalent Material Handler position Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below). Must be able to meet all physical requirements. Must have reliable transportation. JOB REQUIREMENTS Position Responsibilities: Receive and count stock items, (tracking and inventory control). Unpack delivered goods and store in appropriate location until issue. Notify appropriate department when ordered item has arrived or deliver to appropriate department. Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and inventory updates. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Use identification tags, stamps, electric making tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. Required Qualifications: Must have 4+ years’ experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in construction and on industrial plants. Must be organized and have the ability to complete an accurate count on items received. Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively. Must be familiar with basic computer operations; SAP Experience needed. Must be able to follow directions. Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped. TWIC card Required Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrated industrial maintenance history experience Expected to have industrial experience in a maintenance environment Good reading comprehension Ability to work with others – team player Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools but not required Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience required Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work as needed Valued but not required skills, knowledge, and abilities: Current or Former Zachry Group employee Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical or trade school Previous experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
