Position Summary: This position will be responsible for moving racks/carts, scaling, washing product, keep line supplies with stick cards and racks, and other items needed to keep the lines running. Responsibilities: Pull buckets and empty into hopper. Move up to 900 pounds of product on racks. Move full racks of sausage, then scale and enter into the computer. Empty inedible pans and inedible barrels. Assemble and disassemble all stuffers and other related machines; linkers setup and removal. Clean out metal detectors of fat. Responsible for properly preparing casings and using correct casings for products running. Keep accurate daily preparation numbers on data sheets. Take daily inventory. Test all casings used by the Batch Kitchen within 24 hours of delivery. Responsible for making all rack tags. Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP computer functions as required. Ability and willingness to obtain tow motor certification. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Learn and follow all safety procedures. Maintain general manufacturing practices. Perform all positions of job rotation, including the use of a tow motor as needed. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. Perform any other work as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level with 20 pounds or greater. Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry over 20 pounds or greater with back and legs. Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously. Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently. Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours. Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently. Ability and willingness to distinguish between basic shades and colors. Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
