Description
Shipping and receiving personnel are responsible for the smooth, efficient flow of all raw material and fabricated material into, throughout, and out of Badger Drive. Uses forklifts (stand up and sit down), walk along, and 5-ton crane as needed to complete daily job duties. In this function, you will: Deliver finished fabricated parts from fabrication area or the e-coat lines to the shipping dock and fills out necessary paperwork Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound materials Complete shipment paperwork and SAP transactions for inbound and outbound material Move pallets of in-process work to where they are accessible to other customers Keep department provided with pallets and disposed of unusable pallets Puts parts away in storage racks or floor locations Dispose of scrap materials to designated scrap locations within the plant Locate material with proper identification attached and turn receiving paperwork into office Receive, locate, and ship parts daily to assure proper customer service commitments are maintained Other duties may be assigned as needed by a Team Lead or Supervisor. Minimum 6 months of previous experience operating a forklift. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution Experience in the safe operation of various types of material-handling equipment Ability to work overtime when required. Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
