In this function, you will: Interface with other departments in regard to material flow. Operate Forklift to sustain flow of materials for the department. Perform a variety of repetitive sub and final assembly operations on various standard product lines. Follow established working procedures. Be responsible for own work under minimal supervision and instructions. Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards. Keep work area clean and orderly. Contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement. Use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job. Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions. Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 6 months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
