Description Material Handler – 2nd Shift / Manejador(a) de Materiales – 2do Turno Mitchell, SD | Full-Time | 2nd Shift (2PM-10PM, Mon–Fri) / Tiempo Completo | 2do Turno (2PM–10PM, Lunes–viernes) About the Role As a Material Handler, you’ll support the flow of materials across the plant by unloading shipments, documenting and sorting incoming parts, keeping inventory updated, and preparing weekly outbound shipments for Midwest distribution. Requirements The Ideal Candidate / We’re looking for someone who: Has 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; receiving experience is a plus. Must have a Valid Drivers License. Is forklift-certified and confident operating material-handling equipment. Ability to communicate in English is required. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to follow work orders, read supervisor notes, and communicate with team members and other departments using a radio. Is comfortable using computers and can learn SAP to locate and track parts. Can stay organized while juggling multiple tasks—unloading trucks, sorting materials, and pulling inventory. Pays strong attention to detail and keeps documentation accurate. Maintains a clean driving record to operate the company truck when needed. Unload incoming trucks, sort parts, and place materials on the welding line. Prepare and load weekly Midwest shipments; confirm customer shipping and delivery reports. Use SAP to locate, retrieve, and track inventory. Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Purchasing when materials need replenishment. Assist other Material Handlers as needed. Report issues to the Supervisor immediately. Follow all environmental, safety, and company policies. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
