Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: LUKENS - New Castle, DE 19720 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Job Category: Manufacturing Material Handler 3 Wood Department Job Summary: The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Unload wood bunks from incoming trailers Move materials on rollers manually to next work stations. Load and offload material using forklift and other lift equipment. Wrap pallets and make production tickets and scan product labels. Read and interpret bill of materials and other related documents. Order materials from the warehouse and return to stock unused materials. Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, trash, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Previous forklift experience required. Drive oversized forklift. Good depth perception. Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good math and written communication skills. Proficient with ERP systems or related software. Efficient time management skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of related experience required.
