Description
Primary Function:  Deliver raw materials and packaging supplies to the production department following “FIFO” practices while ensuring package labeling and inventory amounts are accurate.  Responsibilities:   * Pulling raw materials and packaging supplies for production  * Returning raw materials to warehouse and verifying label accuracy prior to putting material away * Grinding resin for production usage as requested by management * Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized * Performing duties involved in cycle counts and scheduled inventories * Pulling raw materials from warehouse for inter-company transfers as requested * Updates management of status of inventory and provides feedback of recommended adjustments. * Prepare and organize used pallets for pickup as required. * Maintaining central vacuum filters, cleaning and emptying boxes * Maintaining dust collector * Perform bare metal cleanout of grinder as needed * Repair damaged containers (finished goods and raw materials). Repackage when necessary and label all finished goods or raw material properly * Assist shipping department with repackage request and loading and unloading shipment as necessary. * Support warehouse team and production with overtime as needed    Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Capable of thinking creatively and spatially, in order to efficiently and effectively organize inventory. * Demonstrates excellent time management skills.  * Forklift operating experience/certification   Work Environment/Physical Conditions: * Wears and properly utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, PAPRs, ear plugs, steel-toed boots, protective gloves, fall protection devices and/or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done. * Must successfully pass a company physical. * Able to lift up to 70 lbs. * Be capable of twisting, bending, stooping, standing, walking, stepping, climbing or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, sometimes using steps or ladders. * Be able to work in adverse weather conditions/temperatures. 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Responsibilities
The Material Handler is responsible for delivering raw materials to production, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean and organized. They also perform equipment maintenance, assist with shipping tasks, and support production needs as required.
