We are looking for a Material Handler to join our team. This is a contract position for 6 months and would be on the day shift with the flexibility to work the afternoon shift for vacation or sick coverage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) - Forklift certification an asset
• At least 1 year of warehousing or material-handling (using hand/power tools and hand truck) equipment experience required
• Ability to handle weights up to 50 lbs
• Experience with a computerized inventory system and use of a RF scanner

Experience:

• Loading and unloading of products and materials by hand, or with basic material handling equipment.
• Picking orders and putting stock away while often working at heights.
• Maintaining an organized inventory, performing daily/weekly and monthly cycle counts.
• Successfully operate a computerized inventory control system, using RF scanners
• Working together in a faced pace environment with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, crouching kneeling, manual dexterity etc.
• Cleaning and general upkeep of work area
• Other duties as assigned.
