Description
Summary: Material Handler positions support the assembly of rapid deployment equipment, mobile tactical shelters, air mobile containers and palletized systems for the military’s ability to mobilize, deploy, maneuver, and sustain forces. Pull and stage materials needed for travelers and parts orders from the cribs or any location on the premises. Locate material in a valid parts location once received into inventory and update the location in the Oracle system. Issue material from travelers via the Oracle system. Complete required inventories to correct any on-hand discrepancies. Complete pre-kit reports and draw material for pending travelers. Daily cycle counting. Drive fork truck (Hi-lo). Organize product as required. Qualifications: Must demonstrate ability to operate inventory control and production shop floor computer modules. Must be able to read a bill of material, and pull and review blueprints to validate the material pulled. Must be able to use the Oracle Labor System and correct invalid entries. Must be able to pass computer aptitude and hi-lo test. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have a hi-lo license or ability to obtain a license. Must be safety and quality conscious and oriented. Must be reliable and dependable. Must have experience working in a team environment. Preferred high school diploma/GED.
