(APT) is looking to add a Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is responsible for pulling materials for shipment, receiving inventory, managing inventory and building pallets/shipping supports. What You’ll Do Pull materials to fulfill orders including components, fittings, pipe, tube, and bar Inventory returned materials from jobs Keep track of inventory in assigned areas and participate in cycle counting Build pallets and shipping supports per job requirement Manage shipping material inventory Clean area at the end of every shift and maintain a safe work area Organize incoming materials by project and maintain records of project location Perform all duties following APT safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions to manager Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: 2 years of shipping & receiving experience Ability to safely operate a forklift and complete training as required Clean driving record Ability to use hand and power tools Strong ability to multi-task, maintain attention to detail and organization Demonstrated strong communication skills Ability to work under limited supervision Ability to lift 75 pounds as needed Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Preferred: Experience with stainless steel materials including fittings, sheets, pipe, tube, and bar Experience in food processing industry Telehandler operation experience Construction background Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position.
