Agilus is recruiting for a Forklift Driver & Material Handler in the Automotive Industry in Windsor, Ontario.
Agilus is looking for a material handler and forklift driver to work in the automotive stamping industry in Lasalle, ON on a steady day shift (6 am to 2 pm). You will bring your manufacturing experience to help support production in a fast paced environment. This company is a comprehensive provider of flat-rolled steel production providing products to a variety of industries including automotive and infrastructure. Locally, they focus on producing top of the line steel and metal parts to many of the top auto makers in North America.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid forklift certification or licensing
• Minimum 1 year experience in a factory setting as a material handler
• Ability to work a 6 day schedule (Monday to Saturday) plus overtime

• Operating equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies required to move or reorganize storage
• Ensuring orderly production through timely distribution of inventory and staging of completed orders
• Locating materials throughout facility and warehouse
• Emptying scrap hoppers
• Completing bin audits
• Proper packaging and shipping of products
• Maintaining equipment and reporting issues to management
