Description Experienced Material Handler Wanted! The Material Handler position supports the successful operations of the business by adding the day day-to-day operations of the Yard. Additionally, the Material Handler ensures that workers are performing their tasks correctly and that the yard associate's material handlers are trained. Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, depending on the need. Must be open to working in the various climates Loads trucks for outgoing shipments Unloads the receiving of inbound product Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment Complete all work orders accurately and in a timely manner Rotates product and safely moves product using a forklift (when needed) Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service. Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm Sat 7:30am-11:30am Pay: $16-$20 an hr-DOE REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Qualifications & Skills High School diploma 1-year experience preferred Experience in distribution, shipping, and receiving Knowledge of equipment utilization and safety requirements Personal and professional integrity A clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and integrity Use of tools and equipment Forklift experience is a plus! Order pulling Loading Bending, stooping, walking, standing for long periods, and heavy lifting are involved
