Description
Description Purpose: Sorts and pack materials within the warehouse. Moves stock, documents deliveries and tracks supply levels. Essential Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Ensures accurate inventory is sorted and packed by store location. Ensures accurate inventory controls by categorizing merchandise by gender, brand, style, and size. Shrink wraps products to pallets and ensures correct labeling for accurate delivery of product. Ensures a safe and clean environment by maintaining safety standards. Demonstrates dependability and reliability by being punctual, working assigned shifts, and completing responsibilities in a timely manner. Maintains certifications to adhere to safety requirements and complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements. Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices. Any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Essential Physical Requirements: (bending, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift) Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation. Ability to freely access all areas of the warehouse. Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the warehouse area, generally weighing 0 - 75 pounds. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates. Agrees to unannounced periodic drug testing. Good communication skills and ability to work well on a Team but be Self-Motivated. Use of Equipment: All equipment must be used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines All equipment must only be used for the purpose in which it was intended. Employee is only to use equipment in which he has received a certification or license to use. Employee must use all required PPE. (Personal Protective Equipment). Restrictions to duties: No use of equipment without OSHA compliant standards and OSHA material handling. No excessive lifting. Some lifting may be required, but excessive lifting is prohibited (more than 75 lbs for an extended period of time). All inventory must be moved by a hand truck and or manual pallet jack.
