From our hometown in St. Peter to communities across the country, our achievements are a testament to the strength of our team and the quality of what we build together.  Responsibilities  * Load, unload, and move material to storage.  * Count, weigh, and record pieces of materials to be moved.  * Assist with inventories, when needed.  * Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, and racks, as needed.  * Use a picklist to prepare loads to transport to the manufacturing facility.  * Utilize handheld scanners in support of warehouse management systems.  * Operate a stand-up and/or sit-down forklift or pallet jack.  * Clean work area and maintain walkways free of litter and clutter, clean machines, sweep aluminum chips and other debris, keep personal effects stored appropriately.   * Participate in daily morning meetings including stretching activities, assist with incident investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality improvements.   * Follow all internal processes and procedures including incident reporting, rework escalation, and stop-call-wait.  * Assist in training other employees on equipment and department procedures, engage in effective conversations with team members and leaders, escalate and discuss issues or potential issues to leads and supervisors.  * Aid in other areas, as needed.   Job Requirements  Required  * 1 year warehousing experience.  * Ability to obtain and maintain certification as a forklift operator; certification provided onsite.  * Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.  * Team player * Regular and reliable attendance.  Preferred  * Forklift experience * Greater than 1 year experience working in a warehouse.  * Demonstrated dependability in previous employment.    Our Culture  At AlumaCraft, we believe great work starts with great people—and we invest in our team every step of the way.
