Description
The Material Handler is responsible for accurately locating, counting and moving raw materials to/from the production department.  Move finished goods to proper inventory location, verifying, recording the counts and location. Qualifications Job Duties * Move raw materials to and from production areas, ensuring timely delivery to workstations. * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials safely and efficiently. * Remove finished goods from production and move to proper inventory location. * Track material usage, update inventory records, and report discrepancies. * Accurately record and enter inventory counts and moves in SAP. * Work with the Production Shift Supervisor to ensure the skid counts are correct. * Determine raw materials and supplies needed per production schedule and Bill of Materials per assigned shift/day. * Ensure smooth transition from shift change. * Communicate with the production team and warehouse team to identify material needs, issues, or shortages. * Stock all production needs for 24-hr period in designated area and assist in stocking lines if needed. * Perform daily inventory counts and participates in semi-annual physical inventory. * Adhere to all safety and company policies. * Assist in warehouse clean-up and reconfiguring, as requested. * Back up Shipping / Receiving Clerk. * Assist Hard Tags as needed. * Any/All duties as assigned.   Education * High School Diploma or GED Required   Experience * Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklift and pallet jacks. * Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. * Previous experience with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems, SAP is a plus.   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong math skills. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Team player who works well with others. * Attention to details and accuracy. * Excellent data entry skills. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. * Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and think & plan to keep production stocked with required material. * Punctual and dependable.    Pay Rate:  $18.50 per hour   Benefits: * 401 (k) * 401 (k) Matching * Medical Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Program * Employee Discount * Paid Time Off * Tuition Reimbursement * Flexible Spending Account * Health Savings Account Schedule: * 5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday to Friday * Overtime & Weekends are required
