POSITION SUMMARY:

The Material Handler will maintain production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies and staging finished products.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry using Roll Clamp Truck

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work with team and complete the setup within the allocated time.
  • Proficient in manual paperwork and basic computer skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess knowledge in Health & Safety Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Efficient operation of Clark/Nissan Counterbalance, Crown Reach and Roll Clamp Truck.
  • Maintains the warehouse is neat and clean and safely handling chemicals and adhesives (AIB Certified)
  • Unloading the raw materials
  • Keeping track of orders that have been shipped
  • Support in distributing the required materials to the machines as requested by the operators
  • Locate the materials in the warehouse as required
  • Packing the boxes before loading them for dispatch
  • Using wireless scanner to locate the materials, in case of any deficiencies, inform the supervisor
  • Install bracing, padding and strapping to the loaded materials in the vehicle for dispatch
  • Keeping track of all orders and dispatching priority orders first
  • Putting pallets away and staging them for shipments/transfers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
