A Material Handler at Copeland in Brantford, ON is responsible for the movement and organization of materials within the facility, using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. They locate, transport, and store materials, ensuring they are delivered to the correct locations for production, storage, or shipping. They also assist with quality control, inventory management, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required - must be able to obtain a certification
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to use carts and manual lifting devices (including but not limited to overhead hoists) to move products within the warehouse
  • Attention to detail Team oriented Willingness to grow and adapt in the position
