Position Summary We are hiring Material Handlers to join our Denver fabrication warehouse. This role is responsible for the physical handling of heavy steel and rebar- unloading, staging, storing, and pulling orders to support production and delivery schedules. You’ll work with forklifts, hoists, and other equipment to keep materials moving accurately and safely. What You’ll Do Unload incoming shipments of steel, rebar, and supplies. Tag, move, and store materials in designated areas. Pull and stage customer orders for delivery or will call. Verify counts and condition of materials in and out of the warehouse. Assist with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies. Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse/yard. Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Additional Information What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or materials handling experience (preferred, but not required for Level I) Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and work in non-climate-controlled environments Strong attention to detail in counts and staging Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude Physical & Environmental Requirements (ADA Compliant) Frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs; occasionally more with assistance Prolonged standing, walking, crouching, climbing, and handling heavy materials Manual dexterity for tagging, handling bundles, and operating equipment Work in non-climate controlled environments (heat, cold, dust, noise) Required PPE: steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, etc. Work Environment Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment — customer needs and trucks don’t wait Outdoor and indoor work in heat, cold, dust, and noise Required PPE provided, with exception to steel-toed boots
Responsibilities
