Job Title: Material Handler I

Pay Rate: CAD $19.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (12 months)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Days)

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. from an accredited school
• 1-year warehouse experience (preferred)
• Lift truck experience (preferred)
• RF Scanner picking experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Lean principles (preferred)
• Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently as a team member
• Ability to grasp new tasks and concepts quickly
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as required

• Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity, and correctness
• Accurately pick and process outbound orders
• Move and pick up material from other departments
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Complete replenishment tasks
• Assist with error investigation and resolution related to inventory balances and receiving errors
• Use computer programs to obtain and update required information
• Perform other related duties in the warehouse or elsewhere as required
