POSITION SUMMARY:

Premier Mining Products is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role is essential to the efficient flow of raw materials, parts, and finished mining tools through our facility. The ideal candidate has experience working in industrial or mining supply environments and understands the importance of accuracy, timeliness, and safety in material movement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (mining or heavy industry preferred).
  • Valid forklift operator certification is required.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory software (e.g., Odoo) is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other material-handling equipment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production teams to avoid downtime.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders, and inspect for accuracy and damage.
  • Organize and store materials and inventory in designated locations, keeping the warehouse clean and efficient.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials using ERP or inventory tracking systems.
  • Prepare materials and products for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Safely handle heavy mining equipment components and follow proper lifting procedures.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production departments to support production schedules and customer orders.
  • Follow all company health & safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Report damaged goods or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean warehouse practices.
