JOB DESCRIPTION

Staff Plus is currently recruiting on behalf our client in the Food Production Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the Raymond Reach while completing tasks such as picking and material handling to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols. If you are a forklift operator with valid license and Raymond Reach experience of minimum 1 year, this full time opportunity could be for you.
*Must be open to days and afternoon shifts - placement based on company needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 experience in a warehouse/ food production environment is considered an asset
• Valid license to operate a forklift (Raymond Reach)
• Ability to communicate effectively and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking materials
• Unloading, inspecting, checking weights, sampling, recording, locating inventory and bulk unloading.
• Communicates Shortages.
• Wrapping product; locating, moving and/or storing product.
• Delivering product, bag dump and transferring product.
• Communicate with previous and next shift to ensure a smooth handoff
• Participate in ensuring safe working environment, and safe working practices
• Operates in a safe manner at all time and reports hazards in a timely manner
• Follows company Food Safety Policy and ensures compliance to all Food Safety requirements - HACCP, GMP, and BRC policies and procedures
• Assists with other duties as required
  Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 55lbs as there is picking involved (picking/ lifting bags when less than a skid full product is requested).
