Description Position Summary The Material Handler unloads inbound material, verifies all materials match purchase orders and meet requirements. Receiver scans documents and receives orders into the computer. Receiver marks up material and stores in the stock yard. Receiver maintains the yard, including organizing, cleaning and doing physical inventory counts. Receiver also pulls material for fab shop according to list provided. Take ownership of all assigned tasks and responsibilities, ensuring they are complete accurately and on time. Responsibilities (detailed job description available upon request) Fork Lift Certified and Qualified (Must be an Expert) Material Identification - able to identify material by heat, size, type, shape, thickness, etc. Understands Material Test Reports & Specifications Ability to read shop drawings and use them with Access trackers to understand material needs Match Inbound Orders with Purchase Orders (Quantity, Size, Grade, Specifications) Unload Inbound Trucks (Full Truck Load, Local Distributors, LTL) Clean and Organize Stock Yard
