MISSION CONTRIBUTION:  To ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and stewardship of the GGC through donor and customer relations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling, processing and movement of donated goods, quality control, to maximize profitability and increase training opportunities.    SUMMARY:  Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader Coach or designee is responsible for internal and external world-class customer service, and facility security and maintenance. The essential function is responsible for the greeting of and assisting donors, breakdown of donation, and accurate maintenance of donor records and safe movement of material within the location to ensure the efficient professing of merchandise along with the cleanliness and orderliness of the processing room as it relates to Donated Goods Guiding Principles.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  1. Ensures 100% donor and customer delight. 2. Ensures and provides open and honest communication that encourages that all team members do not place themselves, donors or customers in harm’s way. 3. Communicates and supports Goodwill’s drug-free workplace, strives for and maintains a positive work environment following Goodwill’s Core Values and Guiding Principles. 4. Understands represents Goodwill’s zero tolerance for harassment, substance abuse, workplace violence, failure to report medical incidents (work or non-work related), and theft or other related offenses. 5. Ensures the efficient movement of goods in the processing area to and from donor door, sales floor, production areas, and in the loading and unloading of trucks, and trailers with general merchandise and donated goods with the aid of material handling equipment as needed. 6. Learns to operate assigned material handling equipment safely and prudently under general supervision, following the laws of the State of Florida, organizational and safety policies and procedures. 7. Assist with the donor door as leadership requests and assist in the breakdown of categories. 8. May be asked to greet donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds; ensures that donor understands that unloads donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts and maintain accurate daily counts of donations. 9. Responsible for the stewardship of all donated items ensuring that donations remain property of Goodwill, and that donations are not use in a personal nature as they are guided through the Goodwill River. 10. Ensures proper accuracy of donor tracking and counts. 11. Transports trash to compactor/dumpster and operate compactor as needed. 12. Adheres to all Goodwill and personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Team Leader Coach or Assistant Team Leader. 13. Works in a safe manner adhering to proper handling of material movement equipment and communicates any safety hazards or concerns. 14. Work Quality – Maintains a clean, neat and organized back room and provide good stewardship of donations. 15. Work Quantity – Keep River flowing, consistently works with a sense of urgency to ensure that the team meets production count goals. 16. We are committed to a clean, neat, and organized store.  The image of the store reflects Goodwill, the manager/TLC, and the team. 19. Donors should be greeted in 10 seconds. 20. We are committed to a full store with full inventory. 21. Every time we touch a donation, something good should happen to it 22. All donations should be processed within 24 hours. 23. If you have a pile, you have a problem. 24. Hard goods should be priority processed. 25. Material handling equipment is for moving donations, not storage. 26. Don’t fall in love with your donations… rotation is critical to success. 27. Donor Value should increase. 28. Profits should increase. 29. Follows all Guiding Principles and Core Values. 30. Attend in-service and related training as assigned by Team Leader Coach. 31. Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader Coach and ATL.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. 2. Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. 3. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. 4. Ability to work under general supervision.   SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  1. Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends. 2. Must have a reliable means of transportation 3. This position is safety-sensitive and requires drug testing.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  1. Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments required 2. Able to sit, stand, bend, and reach.  3. Able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to forty (40) pounds with no support regularly. Over forty (40) pounds request for additional team member assistance as needed. Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required by the job. 4. Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion. Manual dexterity is required. 5. Location Ownership – Takes a proactive approach to add value (Image/Workstation/Team Work/Productivity/Communication) 11. Reporting - accurately reports equipment on hand, donor counts, communicates needs
