Description

The hourly rate for this position is $16.22/hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are 4:00pm - 12:45 am. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In this function, you will: Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. Perform quality checks as instructed. Receive and process material kitting orders promptly to execute production schedules Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment safely and competently. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. Own and lead 5S process and discipline for assigned warehouse area Receive and process incoming raw materials and ensure the inventory process is followed correctly Prepare finished products for final shipment including packaging, documentation, and loading, and ensure on-time delivery Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order pickers, automatic pallet wrappers and pallet jack Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment. Two years or more of forklift operation experience (sit-down/standup). Minimum of six months of work experience with an RF Scanner. Position Success Criteria: Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment. Computer literate. Ability to lift. push, and pull up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
