Description
Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE Retrieve parts from storage locations, using a forklift as necessary. Set hook arrangements, hang parts in the proper configuration, visually check parts for quality issues, packing equipment, and assure hooks are properly stored when not in use and other items as required Verify counts and Kanban cards to assure accuracy. Perform de-burring and de-greasing operations. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5s in the area Work with various groups of employees in a team-based environment, cross train on load and unload. Train new employees. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed. Maintain guarding and safety equipment in good working order. Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution Must be able to obtain a forklift license No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
