Use your logistics expertise and be part of handling a variety of logistics issues in a manufacturing environment. You will support the daily operations to ensure essential parts availability to our fabrication and assembly team, material handling and so on. You will follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure those responsibilities are fulfilled and goals are met. This is a full-time position located in Spring, Texas. You will report to the Materials Manager. Responsibilities * Pull parts kits and different bolts / small items from the warehouse and prepare for the assemblers. * Organize received parts and pieces in the warehouse. * Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries * Label every product and place them accordingly * Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process * Keep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory * Handle returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication * Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance * Convey purchasing requirements and keep data on the availability of products in short supply * General shop clean-up and organization. * Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products Qualifications * High school Diploma or GED equivalent. * Be at least 18 years of age. * 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting * Forklift experience Benefits * Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) * Retirement Plan (401k) company matches up to 4% of employee contributions * Vacation (up to 40 hours Vacation time accrued per year n years 1-3, pro-rated in year 1 based on start date) * Paid Sick Leave * 8 paid holidays per calendar year Employment will be conditioned upon passing a drug screen and background check Physical Requirements and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
