Job Information Operates industrial truck equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment and material in warehouse, storage yard or factory. Supplies the lines with the materials needed to perform their job.Role & Responsibility 1. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.  2. Positions forks, lifting platform or other lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, product or materials and transports to designated area.  3. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.  4. Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed  5. Maintains safety checks on lift truck to ensure it is in safe and proper working order.  6. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.  7. Supplies the lines with the materials needed to perform their job manually or with the use of power equipment.  8. Performs other duties as assigned.  Job Requirement Diploma - High School Diploma/Equivalent     Allow Equivalent Must be able to read and receive instructions in English.  Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Successful completion of a forklift safety class, written forklift operation test and an eye exam to check for peripheral vision is required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.  The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required. Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training.
