Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following: When needed/directed, perform administrative duties as follows, (list is not inclusive): Inventory scans/conversions/transfers/quantity move transactions. Running Order Benches (foreign/domestic). Maintaining data files/logs and compiling information. Performs Receiving of Purchase Orders, basic QA inspections. Fielding, responding, escalating email requests as appropriate. Generating/distributing work assignments to Associates. Cross-training fellow Associates in various Whse functions as directed. Operate various lifting and moving equipment to handle material. Perform Cycle Counts, verify inventory levels and locations and note any changes which need updates. Prioritize work based on verbal and written instruction. May be called upon to drive non-CDL truck, delivering production to our DC, several times a day. Maintain acceptable levels of production. Put-away of inventory using hand-held devices. Perform Material Picks utilizing hand-held devices. Pack/Ship orders using PC based Shipping Software (UPS/FEDEX/DHL) Assist and/or train other members of warehouse team as/when needed. Interface with lead personnel and members of management to maintain and enhance efficient movement of material. Support LEAN initiatives when required. Practice good safety and housekeeping procedures (GMP) and adhere to all established policies and procedures. Report any safety concerns. Various other duties as assigned to assist department / facility needs. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform the basic job requirements the individual should have the following skills: Good problem-solving, mathematics and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Quick learner, adaptable and ability to multi-task Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility Demonstrated computer skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including beginner/intermediate Excel skills. Prior experience in inventory management or supply chain planning Independent self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment Phenomenal teammate with a positive attitude, solid sense of compassion and ability to be proactive Ability to train team members, as necessary. Ability to drive power-operated equipment or to be trained within 30 days to drive designated material handling equipment. If assigned driving duties, must have a valid Driver’s License, maintain a clean driving record/Abstract. Education and Experience: HS Diploma (or equivalent) preferred 5+ years in Warehouse environment Forklift Certified (preferred) Prior courses in Safety pertaining to movement of material and MSDS’s Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Responsibilities
This role involves performing administrative duties such as inventory transactions, order bench running, data logging, and handling purchase order receiving and basic quality assurance inspections. The handler will also operate lifting equipment, perform cycle counts, manage material picks and put-aways using handheld devices, and potentially drive a non-CDL truck for deliveries.
