Description Job Summary: The Material Handler II is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks related to material handling, customer service, and equipment operation. This position requires previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely. Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and other yard equipment with proper certification. Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring materials are handled safely. Assist customers with material selection, loading, and product inquiries. Maintain accurate inventory by properly stocking, organizing, and rotating materials. Perform basic yard maintenance to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies. Assist in coordinating deliveries and shipments as needed. Provide guidance and training to Material Handler I employees. Requirements 1-3 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction-related environment. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one within the first 60 days). Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments. Basic knowledge of building materials and their applications is a plus. Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
