Description Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes products within the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens crates and other containers. Coordinate warehouse activities with warehouse leader and office teams. Crosstrain in all facets of the warehouse and potentially other departments. Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment. Maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Job Qualifications: Education: High school education. Forklift Certification Skills: Careful reading Forklift operation Work Environment: Employee must lift up to 50 lbs., moderate noise level and temperature, requires good vision and hearing.
