Description

Job Title: Material Handler Job Summary: The Material Handler supports production by moving materials using a forklift and other equipment as needed. This role ensures the accurate flow of inventory and maintains cleanliness in work areas. Responsibilities: * Replenishes stock, components, and cleans dunnage in work cells. * Accurately scans materials or enters data into software for inventory management. * Inspects finished skids for missing parts, ensures tag accuracy, initials tags, bands skid, completes stock transfer forms, and places items in the warehouse. * Maintains cleanliness in work cells, warehouse, outside breezeway, and dunnage storage areas. * Loads and unloads trucks, sorts materials, packs parts, and organizes the warehouse and surrounding areas. * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the MP&L Manager. Academic/Educational Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. Required Skills/Experience: * At least five years of experience operating forklift trucks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. * Capability to train other employees as needed. * Adherence to all safety rules and regulations, including completing forklift inspection sheets. * Basic computer skills.
