Primary Responsibility: Loads, unloads, and moves material within plant or work site by performing following duties. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs purchase order and job receipts of material Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials received or issued with critical attention to detail and accuracy Performs cycle counts on regular basis Picks and issues material to jobs Delivers backorders and materials to various departments Loads and unloads materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Prepares intercompany packing lists Attaches identifying labels and/or tags or marks containers with identifying information Knows, understands, and follows proper safety procedures Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and verbally communicate information so others can understand Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, general problem-solving ability Physical Demands: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.
