THE ROLE:

Safe operation of lift truck to supply work centers with material, operate automated palletizer, wrap and move finished goods skids to staging area. Support shipping, receiving and inventory management.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Ensure all machine centers are supplied with the required materials
• Pick and stage all packaging materials and components for required shop orders
• Maintain adequate material supply level at all machine centers by acting proactively to anticipate station needs
• Remove finished goods from production lines to the finished goods area
• Return unused stock to designated warehouse area ensuring proper count and store in racking after finishing production run
• Maintain warehouse ensuring proper utilization of racking space available
• Operate automated palletizer, wrap and move finished goods skids to the Shipping staging area
• Perform cycle counts for materials in the area
• Maintain transactions in associated warehouse and inventory software systems
• Ensure the FIFO procedure is followed
• Operate lift truck ensuring proper Safety Procedures are carried out
• Accurately complete all required documentation

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Minimum High School Diploma / OSSD
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Current and valid license to operate Reach, Counterbalance and Walkie
• Ability to perform necessary tasks by reaching, lifting, and standing when required
• Ability to communicate with all departments regarding activities
• Shows initiative, takes directions and executes plans efficiently
• Leads by example, with a can-do and positive attitude.
• Demonstrates accuracy and detail-oriented
• Understands right-first-time quality
• Must possess technical aptitude. Technical background is an asset
• Able to work flexible hours (overtime and periodic weekends required)
• Performs all duties through safe work habits and excellent work ethics
