Job Description: Responsible for the storage, picking and issuance (to the shop floor) of raw materials and for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items. Issues job skids to manufacturing supervisors and collects the supervisor’s signature on pick lists and ABMs. Receives inbound freight and visually inspects it for shipping damage. Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes. Sorts recently received items and places these items in their designated storage areas. Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion. Picks, pulls and packages/crates outgoing shipments. Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments QUALIFICATIONS: Has knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia). Microsoft office software such as Excel and Word. Operate a forklift when necessary. Drive a box truck from warehouse to Amesbury facility with kitups and other material for production. Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures. Backs up production Language Requirement: Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required to ensure effective communication, comprehension of work instructions, and accurate documentation. OTHER DUTIES: Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements. Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain a specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies. Perform other related duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequently push and pull up to 50 lbs. Frequently lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach. Visual and aural acuity Listening TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Munters Orientation Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness HOURS OF WORK: Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production demands.
