Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Operate relevant machinery such as cranes, pallet jacks, forklifts and other lifts to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.  * Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, etc.)  * Capability to use the ERP system to execute inventory transactions.  * General problem-solving skills.  * Operate lifting devices, such as forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack material.  * Position lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.  * Perform routine inspections on vehicles and material handling equipment.  * Participation in Quality and HSE initiatives and procedures is mandatory. 5S, Observation program, toolbox meetings, quality and HSE training and preventive maintenance program.  * Perform other DH Distribution related tasks as assigned by your manager.    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:  * High School education or equivalent or 2-year experience in the distribution environment.   * Forklift or Swing Arm operator experience is a plus but not required.     JOB REQUIREMENTS:  * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
