Role The Material handler performs various duties to transport material throughout the manufacturing facility and process inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records. Duties and Responsibilities Unload, receive, and inspect incoming materials, verifying shipments against purchase orders for accuracy, shortages, or damages. Safely operate forklifts to efficiently load and unload trucks. Prepare and process all shipment, transfer, receipt, and pick paperwork accurately. Accurately pick parts for orders using established picklists. Handle all material returns efficiently, ensuring proper documentation. Execute material transactions using “scan to transact” technology. Package materials securely to prevent damage during transit. Transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility using lift trucks. Assist in other departments or areas as assigned.
