Description Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving raw materials, recycled plastics, and finished products throughout the plant. This role supports production by ensuring timely delivery of materials to designated areas and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities Transport raw materials and finished goods within the plant using forklifts or other equipment. Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound shipments. Stage materials for production according to schedules provided by the Material Movement Manager. Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies. Follow all safety protocols for material handling and equipment operation. Assist with general warehouse organization and housekeeping. Communicate effectively with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing or recycling industry. Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory tracking.
