JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse distribution process, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various equipment.

SKILLS

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Proficiency in operating order pickers, forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely.
• Experience in shipping & receiving processes is a plus.

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage.
• Utilize forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks for moving heavy equipment and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill shipping requirements.
• Maintain an organized workspace by adhering to warehouse management system protocols.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety regulations.
