Description JOB TITLE: Material Handler, Receiving DEPARTMENT: 140 - Warehouse REPORTS TO: Distribution Manager JOB SUMMARY: The responsibility of this position is to ensure accurate receiving of all inbound freight and individual boxes. This position must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills along with the ability to problem solve. Inbound product must be correctly matched up to receiving paperwork and properly received. Product must be organized and stored based on company SOP in a neat and organized manner. This individual must be capable of maintaining an organized workspace, be proficient in computerized inventory systems and RF Scanners, and able to accurately and neatly pack products. Heavy lifting up to 40 lbs. is required from time to time. The goal of this position is to ensure the accurate receiving and storage of product until being processed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PRIMARY DUTIES Prepare workstation for daily functions and maintain workstation cleanliness. Follow-up with any tickets regarding previous shipments. Unload packages from carrier vehicles upon delivery. Sort packages onto conveyor belts by type (ex. Retail, Manufacturer, etc). Move packages to quarantine as needed and dictated by SOPs. Check packages for required information such as Pharmacy ID, total packages per RA and CII. Mark packages that are damaged. Receive CII packages into CRM database and separate the bagged CII product from the rest of the non-control product in the package. Scan CII bags into RF Scanner using the RA and secure CII packages. Print labels. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in order fulfillment, a plus. HS diploma or equivalent. Experience with PF Scanners, a plus. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Working knowledge of MS Office Software. Comfortable using a CRM for data entry purposes. Dependable, reliable, detail orientated and able to follow SOPs. Availability to work overtime and weekends when required. Forklift, Turret Truck, UPS, FedEx and Freight experience a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for up to 8 hours a day, with breaks. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Comfortable using wearing PPE.
