JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler/Shipper Receiver/General Helper to join our team. This position involves operating various warehouse equipment, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records, and helping out in other areas as needed. For this role you must be able to work independently and as a team player.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in a machine shop environment is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience operating forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes is required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to fabrication and machining.

  Pay: $18.00-$25.15 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Operate forklifts, to load and unload shipments safely.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are accurately documented and processed.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to handle materials and products.
• Daily machine routine maintenance, changing filters as needed checking coolant levels and filling oil as needed.
• General housekeeping, sweeping shop floor, garbage cleaning shop washroom and lunchroom.
• Participate in various tasks as needed, deburring parts and weldments, prep parts for painting and painting as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
