POSITION OVERVIEW:

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a knack for keeping things moving? We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Material Handler (Shipper/Receiver) to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations - ensuring materials are packed, shipped, received, and inventoried with precision and care. From building custom crates to managing inventory systems, your work will directly support our production departments and keep our projects on track.

• Position Type: Full-time
• Location: 812 Burton Rd, Vars ON
• Compensation: $27.65/hour to start

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain Level 1 security clearance with the Government of Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility
• Proven experience as order picker, shipper/receiver or other warehouse position
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Mathematically inclined
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
• Good communication skills – verbal, written & digital communication
• Good physical strength and stamina

• Build a variety of skids & crates for inventory/projects
• Pack, seal and label project materials to prepare for shipping
• Commence inventory counts, weekly, bi-weekly & monthly
• Follow shipping & receiving QC documents and submit to shipping Team Lead
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment (forklift & pallet jacks)
• Stock incoming project orders in project related bins
• Order pick inventory &project related material for production departments
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
• Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
• Maintain shipping and receiving area by ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Maintain inventory area cleanliness & organization
• Pre-assemble inventoried goods
• Help in other departments as required
