Description The Material Handler for Finished Goods Operations plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently move finished goods within the facility using a sit-down forklift. Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions Operate sit-down forklifts for loading, unloading, and moving finished. Stage oversized pallets in a structured manner to facilitate safe and easy pickup. Confirm the accuracy of orders prior to dispatch. Effectively communicate with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure operational smoothness. Perform additional duties such as inventory, BOL creation, and other tasks as assigned. Adherence to all safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Promptly report any operational inefficiencies or safety hazards to the supervisor. Requirements Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies Measurement Skills: Basic math and measurement skills are essential. Forklift: Minimum 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience. Coordination: Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and ensure workflow efficiency. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred. A minimum of one year of sustained employment in a warehouse environment is highly preferred. Mental/Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted Capable of working in high heat conditions. Role includes regularly stepping up/down to enter/exit forklifts. Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Regular standing and movement within the facility.
