Description Ascentec Engineering is seeking a material handler. It's an exciting time to join a growing company that has a state-of-the- art temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. -- must have a valid drivers license to drive our box truck. This role is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin headquarters and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship. Requirements JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include, but not limited to the following: Receive materials into stock Pick materials and deliver to downstream & upstream, internal customers/departments Maintain accurate inventory levels Perform cycle counts and end of month inventory Maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system Coordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast paced, quick turn environment Final clean and packaging for a wide variety of products Prepare all shipping paperwork using EpiCor, UPS and FedEx websites Verify incoming shipments Arrange occasional LTL and same-day shipments Local pickup and delivery back-up Coordinate with other staff shipping deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail Oriented Reliable and dependable Positive customer focused attitude Enjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environment Honest with stellar integrity Professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situations Flexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change often Team player WORKING CONDITIONS: Works in a machine shop environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional local travel may be required.
