Description

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Material Handler to join a leading Company located in the Durham, NH surrounding area.
The Material Handler is responsible for processing and moving finished products and materials throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform transactions in the inventory system, moving products around within the warehouse
  • Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities
  • Materials may be moved from racks, skids, or carts
  • Maintain organization and inventory of products within the department
  • Understand and implement required procedures (ISO standard documents)
  • Oversee and maintain a clean work area as well as any other area that may be assigned to Finished Goods according to our 5S standards
  • Report any and all safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Assist in day-to-day department operations as requested

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous Oracle experience is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies
  • Knowledge of forklifts and reach trucks a plus
  • Interest in getting certified for forklift operation is highly desired
  • Must have good communication skills, simple mathematical ability, and can write legibly
  • Must be able to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to follow established procedures, and work under the direction of the supervisor
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
