Sudden Service, INC (SSI) is a subsidiary of the Taylor Group of Companies, a third-generation family-owned business based in Louisville, MS since 1927. Duties/Responsibilities: As assigned by supervisor, receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner. Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists. Prepares parts for shipment to include building shipping containers for certain parts. Dispatches by best method. Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations. Reviews parts before shipment to include right number of parts in the shipment, addresses are correct, all comments on order are fulfilled, and correct type of shipment is assigned to the package (UPS, 2nd day, ground, etc.) Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, Combilift, etc. Pulls and puts parts up at Inventory Storage Building 14. Assists in painting when time permits. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Basic computer skills General knowledge of Taylor Parts System preferred Must be able to operator Forklift and Combilift Education and Experience: High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
