Description Primary Purpose: Maintains inventory levels and assists in shipping and receiving products and materials within the warehouse. Support daily shipping activities and coordinating freight, while managing essential administrative coordination and communications within the warehouse. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: · Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned or directed. · Ships and receives products according to company’s procedures and requirements. · Create and organize daily pick packets by sorting printed orders and assembling them for warehouse associates to efficiently pull orders. · Pick and stage Will Call orders to ensure they are ready and accurate for customer pickup. · Loads and unloads company trucks, common carriers and customer vehicles using forklift and other required equipment. · Assists in the maintenance of the warehouse facility. · Places hazardous materials or waste into appropriate containers. · Properly manages hazardous waste while inside container storage area or otherwise under company responsibility or controls; complete inspections and required documentation. · Cleans and maintains warehouse and equipment. · Adheres to company quality processes, as applicable. · Assists in resolving product quality issues in an efficient and timely manner, as applicable. · Support inventory cycle counts and discrepancy investigation · Optimize the scheduling and coordination of outbound and inbound shipments, maintain open communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. · Organize outbound freight with 3PL logistics partners. · Performs all other duties as required. · Complies with all company policies, rules and guidelines. Problem Solving: Routine: Assuring quality, accuracy and promptness of filling orders, cleanliness of warehouse and product. Coordinate freight. Decision-Making Authority: Limited to the safe operation of company equipment and adherence to all company policies, rules, and guidelines. Supervisory Responsibility: None Requirements Specialized Knowledge/Skills: · Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations. · Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks. simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic warehouse environment. · A proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently while working effectively as part of a team. · Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in managing inventory and shipment accuracy. · Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes through company-provided training.
