Adecco is currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious Material Handlers (Afternoon shift) to join a warehouse and logistics operation in Trenton, Ontario. This is a temporary role offering $23.39 per hour, ideal for individuals with warehouse or manufacturing experience looking to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You’ll handle picking, packing, shipping, and inventory replenishment while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

  • Pay rate: $23.39/hour.
  • Location: Trenton, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 12:15pm-8:45pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, load, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
  • Replenish inventory stock in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Process, package, and store supplies and equipment.
  • Audit and track materials received into the warehouse.
  • Schedule and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Follow warehouse operating procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Communicate with supervisors and regulatory officers about any procedural deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs. independently.
  • Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, lifting for long periods).
  • Previous warehouse, distribution centre, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and use tech tools such as RF scanners.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to certify within 30 days) preferred.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check per Health Canada guidelines.
