Lead the rental department by managing daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Develop and execute outside sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts within the construction, retail, and industrial sectors. Oversee inventory management processes, including data entry, maintenance schedules, and stock replenishment to optimize equipment availability. Manage administrative tasks such as sales documentation, phone etiquette communication, and front desk responsibilities with professionalism. Negotiate rental agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms while maintaining profitability. Coordinate rental deliveries, pickups, transfers, and logistics with internal transportation staff and outside vendors. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong organizational skills with familiarity in inventory management systems and data entry software like Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills in both bilingual or multilingual settings; capable of engaging diverse audiences through public speaking or customer service interactions. Demonstrated ability in sales management, negotiation, and customer relationship building within a construction or equipment rental context. Prior administrative experience including phone etiquette, retail math proficiency, and front desk operations preferred. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for construction equipment is a plus. Ability to work independently while coordinating with team members to ensure smooth operational flow.
