Flextex are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods. Will also be required to wrap all outgoing pallets and ensure the machines have a constant supply of material to ensure they do not stop production. This is a very busy role and the successful candidate must be able to manage their time effectively and work on their own initiative. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid forklift license (e.g., RTITB, ITSSAR)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Very good level of numeracy and literacy
• Excellent IT skills

FORKLIFT DUTIES:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods from vehicles
• Transport stock to and from storage areas
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or damages
• Ensure proper organization of goods

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES:

• Wrap pallets ready for dispatch
• Receive, check, and book in incoming deliveries
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory counts
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and free of hazards
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
